Philosophy on Modules

So, for less “genius”, more bread and butter connections like HubSpot or WordPress…is there any contemplation of making these easier?
Specifically, HubSpot is pretty mature technically and has this easy integration workflow where they seem to read your cookie, and only ask you for your HubSpot login, and add you to the account.
Something like the Open Source ActivePieces would seem to be a really good fit.
Since WordPress is so dominant in CMS, I would think that it might be a common destination…do a bunch of smart processes, generate some words and/or images, feed them to WordPress where you can show them to the World.
This could be a slippery slope…and a distraction from the core mission of AI integrations, which is why ActivePieces or similar could be really valuable.
For now, the API Call module is the way to solve these?

Hey @kenlyle Thanks for your insights. HubSpot integration is definitely on our radar right now. We’re aiming for a new type of integration where you just need to sign in to your platform (like HubSpot) instead of pasting your API key. Gmail/facebook/notion integrations will follow a similar approach.

From a broader perspective, we classify integrations into three types:

  1. Data Gathering: We’re about to release an API integrator, allowing you to pull data from virtually anywhere.

  2. Data Processing: We’ve got this covered with over 2,000 AI models and services.

  3. Data Delivery: We’re working hard on this too, with recent releases like our Telegram integration.

Currently, there are two ways to work with Scade and HubSpot:

  1. Create a Scade flow and call it via API from HubSpot.

  2. Make a traditional API request from the request node.

I’d love to know more about your specific use case. Are you planning to summarize your lead conversations within HubSpot? We’re also testing HubSpot’s own AI integration. Did you check that? What do you like or dislike about it? I have my own thoughts around their AI, but it’d be great to get to know your thoughts about it

Hey Nik,
I only have one issue in HubSpot right now.
I want to loop over my Companies, run an AI process to scan the website, and return to a custom field the fraction of their work that’s non-residential.
In preliminary testing, Skyvern hit the number for one site exactly as I expected.

I’d recommend you to try out this Scade flow:

  1. Get as input company’s URL
  2. Parse it with Perplexity Large Online node
  3. Make a summary with GPT4o (grab the prompt from Summarizer)

Also, you can just tap Summarizer template and check if it works for you.|

If so - then you can call this flow via API from Hubspot itself

And for WordPress? Suggestions?

As of now, Scade doesn’t have a straightforward integration. However, there is a new node called APIFY that is currently in testing but can be tried out. It allows you to utilize apify.com API integrations, including WordPress. Give it a try and make sure to connect your credentials.

Thanks, nik. Apify seems like a great one, including a lot of scrapers.
The mind boggles with the possibilities.

I hope that helps. Scade is still figuring out the best way to interact with API aggregators such as Apify. So please feel free to share your thoughts on the ideal way to work with this node. Your input will be greatly appreciated (not just kudos…) and helpful.

P.S. There will be an announcement for the Rewards Season, recognizing the most valuable and active community members who provide detailed feedback and help the team polish the product.

Thank you for your support!
