[Feature request] Share link to a flow

Sharing a link to your flow is a highly requested feature. Share your thoughts on the best ways to do it, citing examples from other services. The key is to explain your idea and illustrate why it is more user-friendly than other methods.

But it could be done in many ways! Share your thoughts, you can even name couple of good examples from any other services who did it well. The main requirement - is to explain your idea and show why this way is the more usable than the others

Right off the bat, two examples come to mind: Google Docs and Figma.
Let’s gather the most convenient features:

  1. Access level settings (view-only, edit, access via link, or specific account access)
  2. Parallel collaborative work. Each user sees the cursor and actions of others. It can get chaotic with many users, but it’s useful for team work when everyone’s handling their own part of the flow.
  3. Change history (with a note on who made the changes).
  4. the ability to share access to an entire folder with all its contents.

What needs to be considered:

  1. One user initiates the flow generation during collaborative use. Should the flow automatically start for the second user too? This might interfere with work, as two starts could overlap (one starting a specific node and the other the entire flow).
  2. Whose funds should be deducted, the owner of the flow or the one who initiated the start?
  3. When granted read access, is it possible to also grant the right to initiate generation? (without this, read access seems pointless)
  4. If the user grants read or edit permissions, can access to this flow’s API be given? Or should API access be a separate setting since it could already be a commercial product?
  5. The same question pertains to the ability to download JSON.

This is undoubtedly one of the most clear and specific requests I have come across! However, I must mention that the implementation of such a comprehensive feature will occur in stages.

  1. Initially, we will introduce the ability to share an AI app with your client or team member, but they will not be able to view or replicate your workflow.
  2. Subsequently, we will enable the sharing of your entire template.
  3. Once we have familiarized ourselves with collaborative work, we will introduce an advanced version history.

Happy to help! I actively use the service myself, and it’s great to see it growing. Where can I subscribe to the project’s news to stay updated on its new features?
